Yellowjackets has been one of my favorite new series. I was planning on doing the Vancouver locations while I was in the area for the opening night of Madonna’s new tour, but that has been postponed. For now, here are a few of the Los Angeles locations used in the pilot episode.
Much of the first episode was shot in Los Angeles, with a few scenes shot in Vancouver. The first one is Muriel’s Pizza, which is actually a childcare in real life and located at 1435 West Kenneth Road in Glendale, California.
The back of the liquor store is the back of this restaurant just down the street at 1402 West Kenneth Road.
Jackie’s house is at 3535 Locksley Drive in Pasadena, California. This home was also used in True Blood.
The diner scene was shot at Cadillac Jack’s next to the Pink Motel, located at 9457 San Fernando Road in Sun Valley, California. This spot was also used in Grease 2 and most recently, Kylie Minogue’s new music video for Padam.
The soccer field was shot at John Marshall High School at 3939 Tracy Street, best known for it’s appearance in Grease, A Nightmare On Elm Street and Pretty In Pink.
Fantastic cast including Christina Ricci and Juliette Lewis.
