Secret Admirer (1985)

Today marks the 35th anniversary since the release of one of my favorite 80’s films, Secret Admirer. I’ve been to several of these locations a few times, so you may spot some differences over time.

The first location is Burbank High School, located at 902 North 3rd Street in Burbank, California. The original building was torn down and replaced.

This is the corner of Glenaoks Boulevard and Fairmount Road.

One of my favorite location houses. This home is located at 1630 Warnall Avenue in Los Angeles.

The fraternity house is located at 7529 Franklin Avenue. It has been used in many films including Rebel Without A Cause and Teenagers From Outer Space.

Although the gate is supposed to be down the block, it is right next to the house.

Toni’s house is located at 537 Delaware Road in Burbank.

Trivia: Michael’s house was at one time the home of writer/director David Greenwalt.

The door has changed a couple times during my visits as you can see in the photos:

The Fimples house is located at 107 North Citrus Avenue.

This is the intersection of West 1st and Gaffey Streets in San Pedro, California.

So glad they didn’t replace this door!

You can see the house across the street in this shot, located at 1100 North 6th Street in Burbank.

This is the garage side of the Toni’s house.

Michael runs by this corner of Walnut Street and North 1st Street in Burbank.

This is the corner of Kenneth Road and Olive Avenue in Burbank.

This house across the street has had a few renovations over the years.

The Victor Thomas Bridge entrance in San Pedro.

The finale takes place at the Port of Long Beach.

Actors C. Thomas Howell, Dee Wallace, Leigh Taylor-Young, Courtney Gains.

Writer/director David Greenwalt, who signed my laserdisc!
