Six Feet Under

One of the most critically acclaimed shows on television, Six Feet Under premiered on this day - June 3, 2001. I had been to the house over twenty years ago as well as some other random locations, but when I knew I was going to Seattle to see Madonna, I decided to seek out a couple spots that appeared in the opening credits. For the most part, the rest of the show was shot in California.

Not much to match up here, but a tree was brought in on the top of a hill at Gas Works Park, located at 2101 N Northlake Way in Seattle, Washington.

The tombstones were shot at Mount Pleasant Cemetery located at 700 W Raye Street in Seattle.

The exterior of the house was located at 2302 W 25th Street in Los Angeles. There used to be a pathway to the front porch, but has since been removed.

A block down, this house appeared in an early episode, located at 2283 W 25th Street in Los Angeles.

The cemetery and funeral scenes were shot at Mountain View Mortuary & Cemetery located at 2400 N Fair Oaks Avenue in Altadena, California.

In this shot, we drive down West 24th Street towards Benny H. Potter Memorial Park located at 2413 2nd Avenue in Los Angeles.

The school scenes were shot at 13000 Oxnard Street in Van Nuys. This spot was also used in You Again.
