When my sister was going on a trip to Edmonton in Canada, I started looking into some films shot there. Although she wasn’t able to go to any locations, I wanted to publish some of these spots as I’m not sure if/when I’ll ever get there and a a few have never been found or published.
I was not a fan of this sequel when it initially came out because I loved the original Prom Night so much, but it’s grown on me with its creativity and special effects. Like its predecessor, it was also shot in Canada in Edmonton and Toronto. With the exception of one photo, all of these are taken from Google streetview or found online.
Most of the school exteriors were shot at Westmount Junior High located at 11124 130 Street in Edmonton.
The prom interior as well as the final exterior was shot at a different school located at 6015 118 Ave NW in Edmonton. Since filming, this part of the school has been demolished.
The church also utilized two locations. The first one was used for the interiors and one exterior and is located at 10037 84 Ave NW in Edmonton.
Most of the exteriors were shot at 106 King St E in Toronto.
The church can be seen in the background in my picture I took below for Hannibal.
The house was a bit trickier to track down but is located at 11006 125 St NW in Edmonton.
A few scenes were shot at the Lakeview Restaurant at 1132 Dundas St W in Toronto.
The funeral was shot at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery at 5420 - 106 Street NW in Edmonton.
This scene was shot in front of the house at 10047 85 Avenue in Edmonton.
