Today marks the anniversary for Fright Night Part 2, released May 19, 1988. I’ve been to a few of the locations over the years but finally posting them now.
The main location seen in the film was shot at the Trianon Apartments at 1750 North Serrano Avenue in Los Angeles.
However, the reverse shots are several blocks away at 841 South Serrano Avenue. This was shot right next to the apartments used in The Bad Seed remake.
The dorm was shot at at a veterans hospital campus located at 11303 Wilshire Boulevard. This was also used as a dorm in 10 To Midnight.
Several scenes were shot at the Natural History Museum at 900 Exposition Boulevard in Los Angeles. Some of these same spots were used in The Monster Squad.
