Fans of my original blog, Movie Locations and More, know that in addition to my love of movies, I have an equal love for Madonna. I started combining both of those loves searching out and visiting different video locations. While I covered most of the Los Angeles ones, I started work on finding some in the New York area, including Papa Don't Preach. For Bad Girl, a couple locations were found such as the Empire Diner, but I was set on finding her house.

There were only a few shots of the street and the actual front of the apartment is barely seen, but based on what I saw I thought it was in Greenwich Village and started the search. (The interiors were likely another location or set). The apartment exterior is located on 66 Morton Street in New York. The first shot is actually looking up across the street at Christopher Walken.

Next we are looking down the street facing east as the camera moves and pans towards the house...

In another shot, Madonna comes back to her house and we get the peephole shot from the door looking across the street. Yes, I geek out once in a while with a selfie on location…

At the end of the video, we have a reverse shot from the beginning where we leave the apartment with her body being taken down the steps and into the ambulance...
