The bus crash scene was one location that I could not seem to track down. Fortunately, during my visit to the correctional center, they happened to mention exactly where it was filmed so I lucked out!
This location is on Autonomous Road, just two miles south of the MacDougall Correctional Institution in Ridgeville, South Carolina.

This appears to be a relatively new highway leading to the Volvo Operations building.
