Today marks the 30th anniversary for The Stepfather 3. Unfortunately, Terry O’Quinn didn’t sign on to this one, but it’s a reasonable sequel. It certainly never hits the heights of the original, but as you know, I’m a completist. I have a pretty crappy copy for screenshots, so hopefully a better release will be forthcoming.
Just a few locations for this one. Typically a production stays in a particular spot, but this one was all over the place. The church is located at 1711 North Avon Street in Burbank, California.
These driving scenes were shot on South Myrtle Avenue in downtown Monrovia, California.
The house is located at 1292 Carmel Drive in Simi Valley, California.
The pics above were taken in 2013 and 2014. On my most recent trip in 2022, I went to a few more locations and revisited the house, which now has a lot of solar panels on the roof:
UPDATE: I was able to find the establishing shot of the neighborhood at the corner of Topeka Drive and Blackhawk Street in Northridge, California.
UPDATE: The cemetery scenes were shot at Turner & Stevens Live Oak Mortuary & Memorial Park, located at 200 East Duarte Road in Monrovia, California.
