Rose Byrne is one of my favorites, so I was excited to see her new show, Physical. I went to a lot of the locations last year. Since the second season is premiering today, I thought I better get around to posting them. Although the show is supposed to take place in San Diego, it is, of course, shot in Los Angeles.
Their house is located at 3427 South Walker Avenue in San Pedro, California.
The childcare is located at 580 West Paseo Del Mar in San Pedro. This is right next to the bar used in Gods And Monsters.
The mall was shot at 2700 Colorado Boulevard in the Eagle Rock area of Los Angeles. This mall was recently used in You: Season 3.
The bank was shot at 21701 Erwin Street in Woodland Hills. I would have got better pictures but it appears something sketchy was happening as the police soon showed up! This building was also used in 892 (2022).
UPDATE: I revisited the location and got much better shots as well as a few through the window to show you what the inside looks like.
This fast food restaurant is at 2841 East Anaheim Street in Long Beach. I had lunch there and it was good!
The yogurt store (if I’m remembering the plot correctly) is located at 1856 Allen Avenue in Pasadena. This is right next door to the liquor store used in Apt Pupil.
The market is right across the street at 1873 Allen Avenue in Pasadena.
Her parents house is located at 10500 Penrose Street in Sun Valley, California. It was one of those lazy days where I wasn’t getting out of the car, hence the bad pictures. :)
The next fast food place is at 1201 Magnolia Boulevard in Burbank, California. This is just down the street from the realtor in Karate Kid Part III.
The fundraiser was shot at 3800 Stephen M. White Drive in San Pedro, California. A few other scenes were shot on this beach as well.
They also shot quite a bit at this beach at 5370 East Ocean Boulevard in Long Beach.
Through movie magic, the donut shop is pretty far from any actual beach. It was shot at 407 Irving Drive in Burbank.
I though the motel looked a little familiar and realized I have driven past it many times. It is located at2800 E Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena, California.
The gym in real life is actually a…. gym! It is located at 2320 W Magnolia Boulevard in Burbank, California. (If you go to Google Streetview for December 2021, you can actually see them setting up to film there.)
