The my first Insidious blog entry has continued to be quite popular, as soon as the producers started releasing production pics from the set of the sequel, I wanted to get out there and see it for myself, but instead, I had good friend and fellow Madonna lover, Heather Biede, grab some great pics of the new creepy house. Since that time I was able to visit the house and a few other locations.
The main house is located at 5905 El Mio Drive in Los Angeles.
When the film was still in production, I used their one photo to track down the house.
Elise’s house is located at 445 North Ave 53 in Los Angeles.
Although they shot at the former Linda Vista Hospital (610 South St. Louis Street in Los Angeles), it appears the exterior was CGI or shot elsewhere.
However, they did shoot exteriors at least in the opposite direction looking across the street.
At the time, this one was a bit more difficult to find as they used a fake house number, but it is located at 624 South Chicago Street, a block away from the previous location.
