Grease 2 was released on June 11, 1982. Like most 70’s kids, GREASE had a huge impact on my life. I was so excited for the sequel, and although it certainly doesn’t hit the heights of the original, it still a fun movie I hold close to my heart.
For the sequel, the production used a different school. This time it was filmed at Excelsior High School t 15711 Pioneer Boulevard in Norwalk, California.
Nearly every part of the campus was used for filming.

I want a Cool Rider….. This area is right by where they filmed Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.
An update from the last visit…
The salvage yard was at 17647 Bellflower Boulevard in Bellflower, California.
The Bowl-a-rama exterior was an ice rink at 14100 Shoemaker Road in Norwalk, but has since been torn down. Here are some early Google streetview images for reference.
The Pink Motel & Cadillac Jack's Diner has been used in many productions. It is located at 9457 San Fernando Road in Sun Valley, California.
The gas station was around 10110 Artesia Boulevard in Bellflower. Not much is the same except a few buildings in the background.
Right across the street was the location for part of Prowlin’ but unfortunately all of this has been torn down since my visit.
This spot is on the road to the zoo in Griffith Park in Los Angeles.
This street is right behind the school. They drive on Barnwall Street from around Flallon Avenue to Jersey Avenue.
“Charades” was the part I always used for a bathroom break!

I didn’t get very good shots, but this was shot on Bellfower Boulevard. Both the furniture store and gas building are still recognizable.
