Beverly Hills Cop IV: Axel F (2024)

As this year is the 40th anniversary of Beverly Hills Cop, it should be no surprise a legacy sequel will soon be upon us. During my last visit to LA, I took the opportunity to track down and visit a few spots seen in the trailers.

These shots are around 624 North Canon Drive in Beverly Hills.

This sign is at the Beverly Gardens Park at 9439 Santa Monica Boulevard.

Tramezzino seen across the street is at 454 North Canon Drive in Beverly Hills.

This is front of the Burberry store at 301 North Rodeo Drive.

He is arrested in front of the Giorgio Armani store at 436 North Rodeo Drive.

For the police department, they returned to this location at 455 North Rexford Drive in Beverly Hills.

This is the corner of Thayer Avenue and Le Conte Avenue in Los Angeles.

This shootout was filmed around the corner of Wilshire Boulevard and Doheny Drive in Beverly Hills.

The building seen in the background is at 400 South Hope Street in downtown Los Angeles. This street was also seen in Night of the Comet, The Grifters, Someone’s Watching Me, Barbie, and more.

UPDATE: Now that the movie is released, below are more locations. As I’m not in the vicinity to grab actual pictures, Google streetview shots are provided for comparison instead:

The parking garage is at 243 W 17th Street in downtown Los Angeles, but they seemed to reverse the image for some shots? (Google streetview shot)

After going to Rosewood’s office, Axel steals the parking attendant’s vehicle on the Palm Street side of 9171 Wilshire Blvd. (Google streetview shot)

This parking lot is right next to the convention center downtown.

The mansion is at 5426 Ostrom Avenue in Encino. (Are you going to steal this, too, FilmLoci?)

The Chinatown scenes were shot near 843 and 808 N Spring Street.

La Zona Rosa is a real place and located at 1010 E Cesar E Chavez Avenue.

The law office building is at 515 S Figueroa Street.

The corner of 6th and South Bonnie Brae Streets.

This is near the corner of S Clark Dr & Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills.

The helipad was shot at 1800 Avenue of the Stars in Century City. Be sure to check out Fred North’s amazing videos of his stunt work in the helicopter!

The golf course was at 19216 Singing Hills Drive in Northridge.

The hospital was at 4201 Wilshire Boulevard.

Norms is not across the street but at 470 N La Cienega Blvd in West Hollywood.

Although the sign says Beverly Boulevard it is actually Crenshaw Boulevard at Wilshire.

I added a few locations from downtown Detroit as well below using Google streetview shots:
