Slumber Party Massacre III

A fan of the original Slumber Party Massacre, I've visited some locations for that film as well as the sequel, but only recently looked into locations for the third entry.  (Be sure to check out Hocksatter.com or  The Old Hocksatter Place for lots of good stuff.)

Before we get to the main setting, we'll start at Venice Beach.  The volleyball scene is set up between the pier and the lifeguard structure.

Our first victim is Sarah. I suspected this was shot outside the Corman Studios in Venice and I was correct. Although the studios are long gone, there are a couple fixtures still identifiable including the electric pole in the foreground and the light pole and trees down the street.  This is at approximately 615 Hampton Drive in Venice, California.

When the girls leave the beach, they drive up Bay Street turning on Ocean Avenue in Venice. This intersection has changed quite a bit, but I was able to identify it through the street signs.

As the girls leave Venice, they take Ocean Park Boulevard with the camera on the bridge on 4th Street.

Next, we go to the house itself.  Only exteriors were shot at this location, interiors were shot at a different house as well as some sets at the studio.  Thanks to a fan, the home was located at 2013 Addison Way in Eagle Rock area of Los Angeles.   Here are the first shots we see of the house....

Frank and Jackie pull up to the house...

Jackie walks up to the house and sees the door is open...

A couple side shots of the house seen in the movie...

One of the more creative kills occurs when Michael is attacked with a For Sale sign on the porch...

In a strange scene, Duncan asks the pizza girl (Marta Kober) to exchange shirts...

The pizza girl is attacked as she walks down the street from the house....

Back to the Venice studios location as the boys go down the street...

This shot gives you an idea of what the outside of the Corman Studios looked like at the time...

Ken walks back up the street on Venice...

The phone booth was set up near the end of Maywood Avenue, which adjacent to the house which can be seen in the background.  And yes, I do alter the focus of some shots to make them match the screenshot. :)

And finally, back to Venice where Ken is walking down Hampton Drive...
