Today marks the anniversary for the wide release of Private Benjamin on October 10, 1980. I was too young to see this in theatres but I do remember this was the first R-rated film I was allowed to watch on cable! I still get some good laughs out of this one, especially from Eileen Brennan.
Here are just a few spots used for basic training, located at 3601 S Gaffey Street in San Pedro, California. This is right by Madonna’s Like A Prayer video filming location!
