Happy 30th anniversary to PREDATOR 2, released on November 21, 1990. The film takes place in the then-not-too-distant future of 1997. I visited these locations many years ago, so will do my best to remember where they were!
The opening shot begins in what we think is a forest but shows we are in hazy Los Angeles, shot near Elysian Park, the same area from Terminator 2.
The opening shootout scene was shot on the 300 block of Winston Street in Downtown Los Angeles.
This building is on the corner of Winston and San Pedro Street.
Across the street the helicopter lands in front of the building at 424 San Pedro Street.
Here is dropped off at 400 West Olympic Boulevard in Downtown Los Angeles.
The police administration building was at 618 South Spring Street.
This scene was shot in front of 840 Santee Street.
The cemetery is the often-used Angelus Rosedale Cemetery at 1831 West Washington Boulevard.
The fantastic Eastern Building in downtown Los Angeles at 849 South Broadway.
The alley is on Harlem Place at 7th Street in Downtown Los Angeles.
