Jurassic Park: The Lost World

Jurassic Park: The Lost World was released on May 23 1997. I haven’t been able to visit all the locations yet, but thought I would share a few on this anniversary.

The opening takes place on Kipu Kai Beach in Kauai, Hawaii.. This is only accessible by boat but I was able to see it while on an ATV tour. This spot was also used in The Descendants.

Also on Kauai was this scene shot on the Nawiliwili Harbor.

A similarly foggy day is this spot, also on Kauai. This area can only be accessed with an special ATV tour.

Moving back to the Los Angeles area, the swimming pool house is located at 17917 Mayerling Street.

A street I am VERY familiar with is San Fernando Road in downtown Burbank. I usually stay in this area on all my LA travels, so I’ve been up and down this street hundreds of times.

The video store was at the corner of South San Fernando Boulevard and East Angeleno Avenue in Burbank.

The gas station is located at 17000 Rinaldi Street in the Granada Hills area, not too far from the house.
