Laurie Strode’s house is north of Charleston just south of 8100 Palmetto Commerce Parkway in Ladson, South Carolina. (UPDATE: Since my visit, this house has been demolished and no longer in existence.)
This shot below appears only in the trailer not the movie.
The road leading to her house seen in the movie is adjacent to the property on Collins Road. During my visit, the gate was shut and I wasn’t quite daring enough to hop the fence and walk down the road!
…but I was daring enough to quickly check out the house for myself.
This is private property, so you assume your own risk when visiting.
The place was bolted up just like in the movie!
