Happy anniversary to Empty Nest, which premiered on this date, October 8, 1988. A spinoff from The Golden Girls, I was able to see the pilot for the show earlier that summer while taking a workshop at UCLA.
While the house was briefly replicated as a façade in Orlando, the real house is located at 1457 Jonesboro Drive in Los Angeles.
