Halloween Ends - Laurie's house (Halloween night)

And back to Laurie’s house for the end of Halloween night…

This is a shot of the real living room vs. the one used in the film.

Laurie makes her way up the stairs…

…to make a calculated decision.

I feel this is Laurie’s most poignant scene in the entire series.

Although I knew that suicide wasn’t a possibility at least in this part of the narrative, it did give me pause the first time I was watching the scene.

The production built a false wall over the closet door opening, almost the same exact spot where the pumpkin splatters.

On the actual floors in the house, you can still see some remnants of the tape marks used by the actors and crew.

Quick detour to the trailer which had additional point-of-view shots approaching and entering the house:

Funny shot the owner suggested to get into Corey’s final position!

For the most part, all of these scenes were shot in the studio and NOT at the actual house, but I wanted to include them here so you can see the lengths the production went to in order to replicate the house, especially the stair bannister. The hallway was widened slightly and the wallpaper doesn’t exactly line up from the studio vs. the real house.

Love those doors!
