Halloween Ends - Dr. Mathis' house

Thanks to fan, Erin Tindall Ervin, who was able to track down Dr. Mathis’ house at 32 E 65th Street in Savannah.

Again, I was fortunate enough to get permission to shoot photos on the inside of this great house. Although all of the art and some of the furniture was switched out, they used the owners’ sofa.

Here we get a first shot of the pool in the courtyard.

Deb walks down the hallway to the bedroom…

The curtains were made for the film and given to the owners.

Another shot of the pool and courtyard…

This fantastic shower is all part of the home and yes, I had to replicate the shots while I was there, of course!

In the trailer, Dr. Mathis’ body is seen in the pool, but in the actual film he never gets there.

I asked if they replaced the doors at all because Corey is really slamming on them, but they did not!

I would have guessed this great sliding mirror closet door was created for the movie, but it’s actually part of the house. The owner was gracious enough to let me be “Michael” for a few shots.

Michael relives the past by “hanging” her on the wall like Bob from the original film. The owner said they covered all the floors with a shiny film to protect it. While they did a great job of cleaning up, they did leave on blood spatter on the ceiling which they are leaving for now!

Behind the scenes shots.

Special thanks to this great couple, Natalie & Mark, for allowing me to take photos of their fantastic home.
